Made to measure

Start with our S–XL size guide. When you need a different fit, we cut the same piece to your numbers in the fabric you choose. Same tailors, same workshop, three to four weeks.

Tell us the shape

Send the piece you are working from, the fabric you want, and your measurements. Guessing is fine, we check them with you.

We quote in two days

A written price with the fabric, the work involved and a finish date. No obligation until you accept it.

Half up front

A 50 percent deposit by M-PESA starts the work. The balance is due when the piece is ready to send.

Three to four weeks

Cut, sewn and finished in Kenya. If you have a date, tell us and we will say honestly whether we can hold it.

Your measurements

All of this is optional. Fill in what you know and leave the rest. Use a soft tape over the underwear you would wear with the piece, keep it flat, and do not pull it tight. If any of it feels like guesswork, skip it and send a photo of something that already fits you instead. We will confirm before we cut.

Around the bust Fullest part, tape level at the back.

Around the waist Narrowest part, usually just above the navel.

Around the hips Fullest part, feet together.

Shoulder to shoulder Across the back, bone to bone.

Sleeve length Shoulder to where you want the cuff.

Finished length Shoulder to hem, or say knee, midi, floor.

Your height, and the heel you plan to wear This is what gets a hemline right more than anything else.

No payment yet

Sending this costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We read it, come back within two working days with a price and a date, and only then do you decide.

KSh 5,500 to 9,000

Made to measure runs above the ready pieces because it is one garment cut for one person. Fabric choice moves it more than anything else. Silk sits at the top of that range, cotton vitenge at the bottom.

Every piece on the site publishes its flat measurements. If those numbers work for you, buying ready made is faster and cheaper, and we would rather tell you that than take the order.

Made to measure is final

A piece cut to your numbers cannot be returned or resold, so it is not covered by the seven day return policy. That is exactly why we quote, confirm your measurements, and check the fabric with you before anything is cut.
